Started in Victoria in 2009, Wannawafel brought authentic Belgian waffles to Canada’s west coast.  Inspired by Belgian traditions, Wannawafel successfully changed the perception of waffles from a breakfast only food to an all-day snack. Originally operating out of a mobile food truck, the restaurant opened a year later. Since then, the delicious scent of our waffles has become a staple in downtown Victoria.
